Not for pre teens, so be ready to read ahead and talk This book is more 6th grade and up, be ready to discuss some tough subjects such as cutting, kissing, and molestation which I don’t think are not appropriate for the target of pre-teens. Some of the stories are what I was hoping for: inspiration from difficult or funny times and what girls encounter growing up. They could have edited better, especially given the number of different books they publish, to make this more appropriate for ages 10-12. My daughter is a mature 11 and very avid reader,…

Inspirational stories that have inspired reading and personal growth I purchased this for my 10 year old daughter who generally does not like to read. She has loved this book and will even bring it out of the house when we travel so that she can continue reading it. She had never read any of the Chicken Soup books before so I thought it was time for her to start!
